At our Adult Day Centre we provide supervised social, recreational and therapeutic programming for seniors and/or adults with disabilities who are unable to attend regular community activities because of physical and/or cognitive impairment.    Our goal is to support and encourage the participants' independence and optimal functioning and to ensure their dignity is maintained.  We provide individualized program plans that reflect the participants' interests, culture and functional abilities.  Montessori-based activities and Snoezelen therapy are our specialties.

• Extended hours of service (Monday to Friday 8 A.M.  to 6 P.M.; Saturday and Sunday 9 A.M. to 5 P.M.)

We welcome individuals living outside of our services boundaries, providing they have their own transportation.

We have four distinct programs:

• Adult Day Program for Frail Seniors
• Alzheimer Day Program
• Enhanced Adult Day Program
• Interlude Program

Our  Interlude Program is designed to reach the caregivers and clients currently attending our Adult Day Centre.  This overnight service provides supervised programming and professional and nurturing care in a secure, familiar and comfortable setting.  This service is provided one weekend a month and weekdays as designated.

We offer additional service features including assistance with bathing, special diet meals and support services for caregivers and family.

These services are offered for a modest daily fee.  Subsidies are available to those who qualify.  Trial visits may be arranged.
