We are pleased to inform you that the voluntary integration of St. Clair West Services for Seniors (SCWSS) and Reconnect Community Health Services has been approved by the Boards of both agencies and endorsed by the Toronto Central LHIN on February 22.
This marks a crucial step in the merger process. The integration proposal is a result of close collaboration between our two agencies and reflects the invaluable insights and ideas of our clients, caregivers, staff, SCWSS’s members and partners across our communities and the health system.
The merger will leverage the strengths of both agencies, providing clients with improved access to a broad range of community support, in-home and mental health and addictions services through a single organization.
We are pleased to confirm that Mohamed Badsha will continue as CEO of the merged agency and Sujata Ganguli will assume the role of Senior Director of Community Support Services, responsible for the programs and services delivered by SCWSS and other new initiatives in the CSS portfolio.
We would like to thank our staff and volunteers for their dedication to clients and commitment to building an even stronger, integrated agency, together. We look forward to continuing to collaborate with all our community and health care partners to improve the health and wellbeing of the clients and communities we serve.
